Doing well

coco is my 3 years old chocolate lab. shes so beautiful and the biggest sook you will ever meet. weve had her since she turned 1 year old. i adopted her from a friends son who had just had a baby and found it all a bit to much to deal with. i wouldnt change coco for any other dog in the world although she does need to loose some weight. 1 year ago we had her at the vet because she had hut the pad on her back paw on glass when she was out for a walk. she weighed 27.8kg. 1 year later 31.8kg. i cant honestly say shes been getting fed more and the exersize hasnt been lacking. been to the vet this year and we put her on a diet in october. she is due back to be weighed again so fingers crossed theres an improvment. ok update 06/02/09. been at the vets today and shes lost 2.3kilos. thats great news. the vet says shes looking great. all weve done realy is manage her food intake more. shes on 2 cups a day of bakers complete weight control which would equal to around 250grams a day. were ever so proud of her.
