  • i need help with my dog rustie he has a weight problem
  • i have a crossed sheltie called rustie he is 6yrs old and has started to put on a lot of weight i have cut out all his chewy stick treats i feed him twice a day not large amount but he does not seem to lose any weight am i feeding him to many times a day help pls

  • The vets in my area, so a programme that is free for animals over weight you can take your dog to be weighed each week, 2 week or monthly intervals to see if they are losing weight they will also give you some advice, i changed my dogs food to a weight control food which keeps the dog more full for longer, my dog is also a cross dalmation and still has more weight to lose.
    The nurse at the vets should give you some advice.

  • Can anyone help i know what to give food wise for my dogs diet i just dont know in what amount and wieght ect.i ask the vet but they just dont seem to have time to talk about these things they just say white fish chicken rice and veg grat ok but how much can any one help please?
